2012 Russell Gregory Pinot Noir “Sonoma Coast”
Posted On November 28, 2018
With fruit sourced from the Price Family Vineyard in the Carneros appelation, this deliciously complex wine if one of the best examples of a Michigan made Pinot Noir. An elegant mix of raspberry, cherry and pomegranate fruit blends well with the floral notes of violets and rose petal. The holiday spice of cinnamon and clove are unexpected touches from this medium body beauty. Aged in used French oak barrels, it’s crisp acidity and refreshing finish make for a healthy mix of concentrated flavors. Duck, roasted chicken and deep friend turkey would be pleased as punch to pair up with this graceful quaff.
