S.A.PRUM BLUE RIESLING TROCKEN

From Bernkastel the vineyard is southwest of town in a area that is composed of stony Devonian blue slate soil. The high copper content in the blue slate give the wine a additional levels of flavor.
The grapes are picked at Spatlese ripeness, Fermented in stainless steel with a small amount of wild yeast added. The wine has mineral character and lush elegance. A bit dry with aromas and taste of Granny Smith apples, white peach and pineapple. 
The blue slate makes this Riesling totally different than any other.
