SCREAMING EAGLE SECOND FLIGHT 2014

How lucky we are tasting another great bottle of wine.

Second Flight is a blend of majestic grapes from Napa Oakville and offer a different style red wine from Screaming Eagle. (and more affordable) The blend is 65% Merlot, 22% Cabernet Franc, and 18% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Kinda like a Right Bank Bordeaux , American style.

First on the nose was some floral. Then the true characteristics began to come alive. Black fruit, mocha, cassis, with hints of rose hips and under tones of wood smoke, white chocolate. beautifully balanced with nice fullness and silky flavors on the finish.  
Best of luck finding bottles of this wine and if you do. Consider yourself lucky.
