Perfect time of the year to try a Malbec. This one is affordable and a hidden gem.
One of Argentina’s great growing regions is the Cuyo area within Mendoza. The vineyards are reaching elevations of over 3,500 feet. the region is known for a lot of bright sun and cooler nights, making the grapes full of favor. We tasted a beautiful malbec with deep dense purple color. we let the wine open and then intense aromas of blackberry and hints of spice. The rich flavors of raspberry, black cherry and hints of other dark fruit. Balanced on smooth full bodied tannins. Aged in French and American oak barrels.
