2014 MOLLY DOOKER BLUE EYED BOY

If you are a fan of Syrah, or Shiraz as it is known in other parts of the world, the spectrum runs from thin and weak to big bold fruit bombs. But when it comes to Shiraz from Australia, they certainly don’t come much bigger and better than the 2014 Blue Eyed Boy from Mollydooker. Big powerful dark fruit, plenty of spice, black pepper, dark chocolate, black coffee and multiple layers that go beyond deep. Black licorice and plenty of vanilla notes last long into its lengthy finish. Pour a glass of this wine, it’s so inky dark, that you could watch an eclipse through it.
