2017 Russell B. Gregory Sauvignon Blanc

Here is a white wine so unique, it has a personality of its own. Fresh and clean with lemon, lime, Granny Smith apple, green melon and grilled pineapple fruit that flows over the palate with lip smacking richness. Its broad range of flavors keeps developing over time, showing anise, lemongrass and candied ginger. Its distinctive style can be contributed to its roots from the Garnier Vineyard located along the Oregon side of the Columbia Gorge. With a well balanced acidity and pleasant creamy finish, paired with a variety of cheeses, grilled fish or fowl, either would be pleased as punch to have this as a pairing partner. I could go on and on touting its praises but I’d rather button my lip and savor another glass.
